Purchase Dish Receiver New

Always check the receiver ID# with DISH before you purchase any receiver on EBay!.

REMEMBER MOST DISH RECEIVERS ARE NOT "NEW" Today most receivers are REFURBISHED even if they do come with a 1 year warranty, 722K, Hopper and Joey maybe all that is currently in production.

I'll bet dollars to donuts (from way back when you got several donuts for a dollar) that only H/J is in current production, and maybe the ViP211K (for tailgating). Only if need arises would they restart the ViP722k production line. I've got the feeling that they're going to be building up long supplies of ViP receivers from H/J upgrades.
