PVR721 Replacement Questions

Hello all around!

Over the past week I've been peppering everyone with my 721 questions and wouldn't you know, I've got more. LOL!

I've asked E* about their Home Protection Plan and if a receiver purchased after installation can be added to that plan. The answer, yes. So, my question is...

Has anyone purchased a 721 after the fact and later on had issues that resulted in E* replacing the unit? Did they refurb it? Did they send another model in it's replacement?

I'm just trying to ensure that i don't drop $460 bucks on a unit that I'm just stuck with a year or so later in the even of catastrophe.

They will replace it with another 721.

Do not worry, I am hearing some peeps that the 721 may have been spared the execution block, and will be the base for the new SBC boxes.

Maybe this will be when the internet option will be used on the 721.
