Qam tuner card cable tv

I have a 622. can't get HDlocals. I want to get a Tuner card for my HTPC that will pick up the broadcast off the cable system. Will the MDP-130 MyHD Tuner card work, and if so, what kind of picture could I expect?
Sorry if this is the wrong forum, but any help would be appreciated.

I have a Dvico Fusion HDTV 5 USB tuner that I use for OTA and it also works with QAM (Cable company free channels)

I have the My-HD 130 in my HTPC right now. Works great! I have QAM hooked to one port and OTA hooked to the other. I record from both with weekly timers without touching a thing.

The component output is also a big plus as it plays the video back flawlessly from pretty much any power CPU PC.
