Question about new install?

I'm switching back to Dish on June 3, can't wait. Will the installer put up two dishes or one to get Voom HD channels too? Locals are not available in my area 01035. Will the 622 receiver pick up off air HD as good as my Zenith HD-SAT520. I wished the 622 looked like high end audio equipment. :

You're not in the 129 sat. footprint, so you will need something like the D500 for 110 and 119 sats and a separate dish (D300 or 500) for the 61.5 sat. for much of the HD programming including voom. Four Boston HD LiLs are also in that same slot. I'm not sure where your SD LiLs are (if at all), but you can check for yourself at:

Thus far I have been disappointed with the OTA tuner in the first 622 I received. It is less capable than both the tuner in my TV and in my existing 811. But others have reported excellent results with the 622's OTA tuner. Mine is being replaced for other reasons and I'm hoping the "new" one will also have a better OTA tuner. Maybe someone with experience with both the 622 and HD-SAT500 can chime in.

Good luck! I think you will enjoy the 622, as I expect to as well someday! (Don't look at it, just look at the HDTV...!)

I think you might half to have two due to I know the Dish 1000 does not work in MA... The 622 should work fine for OTA which you can get your local HD off your Dish at sometime.
