My family and I are going to be moving to the area soon to take care of my father and we have a problem with the elementary school that our daughter would have to atend. The school in question is Holland Elementary and has a rating of 2 out of 10 while many other schools that are out of zone are 6 or better. My wife and I dont want to send our daughter to this school and would rather go the route of filing a school transfer to get her into a better rated school thats a few blocks away by the name of Green Run Elementary. Has anyone here thats in VB been able to go the route of a out of zone transfer to get their kid(s) to a better school and how did you do it successfully?
