Bought a 921 receiver from someone. I get it activate it no problem everything is cool. But I notice that his locals are showing up in the listing and so are mine. Now I am not able to receive the spot beam neede to get the locals as he was in Texas and I am in Michigan. So I edit them out of the list with favorites list. Anyways today I notice I CAN receiver channel 416 FOXSW RSN and my FOXD RSN.

I really don't care etc but I was curious if this is common, how long will it last and how long before the old locals stop showing up.

It might stay that way until dish sends a hit to your receiver. I recently activated one of my old receivers that I had not used since I lived in Chicago. I received all the Fox sports channels and chicago locals (national beam) and tampa locals. It stayed that way until I swapped out the old blue card for the yellow card. I even called dish and told them i wanted them to send a hit to the receiver and they told me not to worry about it.

Man I would love to get a 921. Does anyone know where I can get a great price on one.
