Question on the dvr 510

Ever since they've updated that dvr once you set it up to record something it records the same show everytime they come on even after it's been unplugged.How do you unset it?When I try to set it up to record new shows it won't record because it still wants to record the other shows.I hope I'm not confusing everybody.

Did you actually delete the timer (DVR, DVR, DVR, timers, edit list, make your selections and press delete) or are you just marking the event to be skipped and it keeps recording in the future?

I recently had occasion to delete an "All" timer on my 501. I simply wanted to change it to "New", but I couldn't find any such option. So I deleted it and created a new one. That works.
