If I do away with the $5.99 locals fee and get those OTA, I understand I would lose the listings in the guide. If I want to record something, I'd have to do it like an old VCR?

Would my other DVR functions like recording all new shows, etc still be available?

Not for the OTA channels. Without guide data, it's not going to do anything.

Only thing that changes

The only thing that will change for you is that the OTA's will show digital service. Anything that you want to record off them will have to be set for manual timers. No other channels will be affected.

You should consider the DVR Advantage pricing option, saves about $4 compared to pricing individually.

Pricing includes locals and dvr fee:

Top100 39.99
Top200 49.99
Top250 59.99
