Interesting that the most famous guitar player of all time was an American but broke out with English bandmates and management. I was about 9 when my friend's teenage brother played us "Are You Experienced", and it blew me away. As it did the 1st time I heard "Electric Ladyland"...shortly after, ah, imbibing for the first time. Both vivid memories.
