Rafael Palmeiro

Here is a very good read on Rafael. Whether he was a cheater or just a victim, his reputation was crushed by what he testified to and the positive test. Rafael, Will Clark, Bobby Thigpen, were fun to watch at MS State and in the pro's. Raffy had a great swing and should be in the HOF. It's a shame considering the player he was.

The only thing I remember about Palmeiro was a Ron Kittle checked swing popup leading off the second inning for the White Sox against Nolan Ryan. Palmeiro lost it and it dropped behind him. It was the only hit that the White Sox got in the game. I think that the ball should have been caught and Ryan getting another no-hitter. I'm sure if this had happened in the eighth or ninth inning that it would have been ruled an error.
