Bama adds another big game to start the 2018 season. While not quite in the same class as Wisconsin this year, USC next season, or FSU the next, it is being reported that Bama will open 2018 against Louisville in Orlando.

Can you schedule games on TiVo three years in advance? Asking for a friend.

Louisville and Alabama will reportedly kickoff the 2018 season on Sept. 1 in Orlando, according to ESPN's Brett McMurphy .

SEC! SEC! SEC!
ok now that's its been an eternity in SEC terms since the conference has won the championship, is this the year to return to normalcy?

I think a couple have a shot.

And I still think it is by far the strongest top to bottom conference.

As long as Alabama plays in a semi-final not named the "Sugar Bowl" they have a shot, what is it now, 3 Sugar Bowl loses in a row? ;)

Seriously, the SEC has a lot of question marks this year they didn't have in the past few years. The East is pretty disfunctional right now, with Florida & South Carolina's collapse last year, plus Vanderbilt & Kentucky are still Vanderbilt & Kentucky. Georgia has a new OC, and no quarterback picked out.
The West is a wild card, as the Mississippi schools returned to reality late in the season, and A&M has shown to be a flash in the pan due to Manzeil. Who knows what LSU is going to do, so all hope there lies in the State of Alabama.

I honestly feel that it will be a very competitive year, with one or two games, as usual, making a season for a few teams great or so so. Missouri will be tough again (man the move benefited them more than anyone could have anticipated), and Tennessee appears to be on the verge of returning to prominence. This COULD be their year to contend for the East. Georgia and Florida are stacked with talent, they just need to translate it to on field success. Vandy and Kentucky are....well, what you said.

In the West, A&M has all the tools, but it is just not there for them at this time. Stadium should be pretty on tv though. lol
Ole miss will be the Mississippi school to watch, and they could shake it up, or contend. State was over rated last season, and I do not look for them to duplicate last seasons early success.

LSU is LSU, like Georgia and Florida, they are loaded, but the still have Miles.

Auburn will be stout. Legit contender for it all this season.

And Bama. I sincerely hope that Coaker is not named the starter. I simply do not want to go through the QB process again next season. Not starting him may hurt us this season, as our offense is young, but I think it gives us a better future the next few seasons, and the teams is absolutely loaded top to bottom that we may be able to take up the slack, even with a younger and perhaps less talented QB calling the shots.
