Norman, OK
Classic Movie restored and coming to IMAX. It arrives in this area on Sept 7th. It will be fun to go see it again.

It isa fine motion picture but as good as it is you should not turn down a chance to oryx hunting for a movie.

BTW does oryx taste like venison? I am not really sure why I wonder aboutt aht but I do.

I'm going to venture a guess that mike123abc is a dish customer.

This is true, but I saw the preview for it at a theater, not on Dish where I never watch commercials...

Their Moore, OK theater is the largest IMAX screen in North America. They seat over 600 in the IMAX.

It is one of the best run theaters I have ever been in. All screens are THX and DD. They have directors suites with recliners (and table service), they have balcony seats with seat warmers and table service, etc. They do not show commercials, and their screens are huge. Their smallest theater has a 50' wide screen (12.5 ceiling tiles if I count correctly).

My clue was the spelling you chose for "Arc" :)

The movie is about the Ark of the Covenant, not Eastern (or Western) Arc.

Well I saw it in IMAX. It was not really a good film for IMAX. The IMAX brought out many problems. The dark scenes were pretty grainy and low detail. A lot of scenes had trouble with focus. The shots out in the bright desert were excellent. I am sure it will look great on bluray when you are not watching on an IMAX sized screen. They did a nice job hiding the glass between Ford and the snakes.
