Someone gave me one of these and told me it was for C-band. But some stuff on-line leads me to believe it is some type of DirecTV equipment. Please help me!

Let me ask you this. The Legacy II receivers that use the newer LNBF logic, are they also capable of using the old "LNB" on the C-band stuff. Or is it a matter of deciding which LNB you have, as to which receiver you get. If Legacy II can use both types of LNB on the Analog C-band, I think that is where I should put my money. Thanks guys....

GI/Motorola 450i-650i will do either LNB or LNBF. You can find them on ebay all the time.
