It is too cumbersome to press multiple keys to move the channel up or
down. The best solution I have found is to "hide" all unwanted OTA
channels (the satellite channels can not be hidden). Then the channel
up and down buttons will only go through the OTA channels that you
want (the channels that you did not hide) plus the satellite channels.
But once you have scrolled up to the uppermost OTA channel (say
channel 69), press 2 to go back to channel 2-1 and start scrolling up
from there again. Or if you have scrolled down to the lowest OTA
channel (2-1), press 69 (or whatever the highest cahnnel that you did
not hide) and start scrolling down from there again. Between channel 2
and channel 69 you just use the channel up and down buttons like on
most other TVs or receivers.

Re: [VOOM/DISH/OTA] Does anyone know how to "hide" the satellitechannels?

I haven't seen anything from anyone cracking the case on these things
yet. There is surely some hacking that can be done. Voom is
historical, so it's not like you are stealing services here.
