Did you go to antennaweb.org yet? I just did for your zip/state and you'll
definitely, without question, need an omni-directional antenna.. and a
powered one at that it looks like.

Personally speaking, I think if I were in your shoes, I'd probably get the
correct antenna installed and running before calling VOOM. That's just my
..02. Others may disagree. But you will no doubt need a much stronger antenna
than VOOM installs on their initial install.
