I found this CB Radio among my Father's belongings after he passed a couple of years back. I hadn't opened the box until now. It appears as if it has never been installed/used. I don't know it's age but was wondering if it was still of some use in today's landscape.

Ahh... Good old Realistic Radio Shack CB. Would guess it's from the mid '70s.

Sent from my cheap phone using the SatelliteGuys app!

Might want to check the value on un opened box! ;)

There are diehard collectors out there for the highest bidder or just E-mail to ARS from PBS.

Is their such a thing a so called CB radio bluebook value out there?

Just curious. :hatsoff

People who are searching for "new in box" aren't looking for boxes that have been crushed. They're usually looking for packaging that is in brand new condition as well.

You can get a good modern CB radio with SSB for under $150 so that doesn't leave a lot of pricing room for '80s tech.
