Just noticed that 10 years ago I described receiving program from Hispasat after double reflection. But then - it was just one reflector (mirror) and second reflection was, of course, from the dish...
Now, I tried TWO mirrors, so, technically, it could be called “triple” reflection ?
This experiment shows that losses of ”Q” are not significant despite reflection of surfaces.
Without lasers, the set-up would be very time-consuming.
My curiosity is satisfied. I do not know if it can be used for something practical...

Whatever you are doing it looks like fun but I'm still trying to understand the purpose or advantage of double mirrors vs. a single dish?

The advantage is very limited, I agree. A small percentage of satellite hobbyists has home or, more often, cottage surrounded by high trees, and such situation requires installation of a dish
far away - and long run of RG6 - sometimes in stoney ground. Instead, a flat signal reflector could return the sat”s beam to any place on the house wall. Even - ”inject” the beam through a window - maybe in the attic. I made a post a few months ago about “dish in a room” on this Forum.
Some people also do not like to have a dish on their home. If hidden in attic, it would be OK.
So, in some rare cases, sat beam - reflected - could be useful.
The round mirror which I keep in a shed, can be made slightly concave and thus it also can concentrate the sat“s beam to higher “density”. I hoped to use really small, 8” dia secondary reflector for reception. It did not work as expected.
Now the “new” plan or idea is to try MULTI - FACETED primary mirror (made of 3 to 7 smaller reflectors - focusing to far-away focal cloud with 12 or 14” secondary mirror. But not at present weather...
cheers,
