The Idol tour seems to be recession proof.

I have heard all tours have been successful this year. People want to attend a show to forget about life and the "recession" etc.

Maybe Musicals will make a come back. They certainly were popular in the great depression , where people still went to the movies to escape real life.

I think the 80% they mention was accurate for St. Louis. There were seats, but not many. And it was a good show.
