Any tips to recording OTA. I can only record OTA HDTV manually. I can't get a timer to select the OTA channel.

1. Set the offset times to zeros instead of the default 1 and 3.
2. Leave the 921 showing a live satellite channel instead of an OTA channel.
3. Do not have a satellite channel recording when the OTA timer activates.

Playing with the 921 is sort of interesting. You are not sure what is going to happen when you try something.Yesterday the 'search' would not show anything before the 5th on my 921. today it works fine.

Don't choose "weekly" -- It won't work. Instead, set the offsets to zero and choose "once".

I have a timer to record "24" weekly over OTA with 1 min before and after. No problems here, it has not missed a show yet.
