So I was messing around with my 722 last night and was watching a program. About 30 min into it I decided I wanted to record it, thinking it would start the recording from the time I turned it to the channel(as D does). I later found out it only recorded the program from the time I hit the record button?Why is this, Is there a work around for this?

When you push the record button and it says Record Remainder of Event, it means just that. You can then press "Options" to get more choices. One of them is Record Entire Event. But you will only see this if the beginning of the show is in the buffer.

If you are watching the channel before the show starts, you can select record entire program. If the show already started before you turned to that channel, you would have to back up the channel to where you started watching that channel, hit pause, hit record, then hit play. It will then record from there onward.
