Recording same show every day-old ones dont delete.

ViP 622. I record a soap for my wife every day. I have it set to keep 2 of them. It used to work, deleting the oldest episode and keep the most recent 2. For reasons unknown its keeping all of them now. I tried switching it to keep only one but it still won't erase any of them automatically. Anyone else have this issue?

It happens to me too on my 622. I record a lot of stuff daily and have it set to keep only one. Sometimes it keeps two.

This occasionally happens to me too with the 722, but it sometimes happened on my 625, as well. Then it works like it should.

Try cancelling the timer and doing a new one with same parameters.

For some reason it is designed that if you STOP the recording before it is done, it will not erase automatically.
