Can you record three shows at once using vip612. Recording two with the dual tuners and one over the attenna? Can you also record one over attenna one over one tuner while watching another? How is the vip612 different then the vip722 in single mode other then less recording time and PIP.

Yes to all those questions. No difference in the 612 from a 722 in single tuner mode. Heck, you can record three things at once while watching a previously recorded show. The 612 is essentually a 722 in single user mode with less storage. You can get EHD for 612 like you can the 722 to take care of that problem.
