There are a string of channels in red, channels 873-899. They're channels that corresponds to other numbers as well. Does anyone know what they are? Also the superstations are in the 230's as well as the 8000's. Does this take up extra bandwidth?

they are on wing satellites << (Ok this was wrong) :(
for international packages and such. << (this was partly right) ;)
not using 110-119 bandwidth << (this was right) :)

100% wrong. Every single one of the channels from 873-899 is on 110 or 119. They are NOT on wing satellites.

Juan, try reading the posts before replying. No one said they weren't in the 8000 range. The person was NOT asking whether or not they were in the 8000s. The question was "Does this take up extra bandwidth?" to which I gave the correct answer, "No."

Actually, 875-899 are in Dish Latino MAX and you only get one set of mirrored channels - AT 180 gives you lower numbers only and vice-versa.
(confused heck out of me but what did it do to poor csr's who speak Tagolog?)
