I guess if you NEVER need data because you're always covered by WIFI and/or use a flip phone this would work.
US Mobile unlimited talk, text and 2GB per month for $96/year is a better deal, IMO.

Data wasn't a concern, our TMobile plans are unlimited. Bought the RedPocket/AT&T only for emergency backup when out of the coverage area.
The plan you posted looks good.... but over 3 times the expense.
Forgot to add: Redpocket plan includes International calls and text to 20 countries. (Including Peru)
