Remote Compatibility

Does anyone know whether a 522 (blue/green, UHF/IR) remote will work with the 721? How about other receivers?

all dish network remotes work other dish network receivers. Since i haven't done much work on 721's, i'm not sure if that is uhf or not. But if it is uhf then it should work. Just make sure that your remote addresses are the same.

Not necessarily... The newer receivers use a different UHF frequency than the older ones (including the 721).

So, the 522 UHF remote will *not* control the 721. The IR one that comes with the 522 should work fine though (I think).
