can an 8.0 uhf pro remote be programed to operate either a 721 or tv2 on a 622 ?

if so -how do you do it. i ve tried holding sat for 3 seconds till all the buttons light up and then plugging in address, pressing # twice and then record with no success.

any suggestions ?

Why would you have to press "#" twice? I only press that button once when progamming addresses

Make sure you're on the system info screen, that's the only place pressing record will change the address.

The 8.0 remote should work for a 622. It is UHF-PRO not UHF so it will only work for the 721 if it also transmits IR. I don't think it does but I could be wrong about that.
