Remote Question...

I'm thinking of splitting the TV2 signal so I can watch it both upstairs in my bedroom and downstairs in my basement. I rarely, if ever, have these two TVs running at the same time.

Since I'd rather not have to run upstairs or downstairs to get the remote each time, would it be possible to buy another #2 remote to keep upstairs? Or does my 625 only allow two remotes total?

Yes you can do this, as long as both #2 remotes are on the same frequency.

Yeah, that is the key. Just make sure you have both remotes on the same address.

Any UHF Pro remote should do the trick.

How do you make sure they are the same address?

Do all of this from the TV1 location:
Press the system info button on the front panel. Near the bottom of that screen you will see "Secondary Remote Address" along with a number in a white box. Change the address of the new remote to the number in that box and you're golden.
