Replay of DVR Programs freezing

I am having a problem with recorded DVR programming freezing about 5 minutes into playback.

I have a 722 HD DVR, and every time I try to watch a program I've recorded (whether HD or non-HD), the playback seems to "freeze" after about five minutes. The only way to get out of it is to hold down the reset button.

I did not have this problem until recently. I noticed that it happened about a week after I set up my Slingbox, which worked fine for a while. Now, however, I've disconnected the Slingbox and still get the freezing issue.

Any ideas on what is causing this and how it could be resolved?

Another poster recommended a hard boot to solve a video stutter problem. Unplug your box for about a minute and see if that fixes the problem.
