Egads they destroyed this movie trying to make it 3D.

They should have spent their money elsewhere like on script and special effects.

I like the series and have watched all the others. They do not have a lot of plot but they have a ton of action and lots of ways for the zombies to die.

This movie looks like they shot the main set/outdoor scenes in 2D, then they decided they wanted to jump on the 3D bandwagon so did the conversion in post processing. So, you have half the scenes in the movie with cardboard cutout looking 3D. A person may be forward in the scene, but the person is flat.

Then they have the CGI which they did in 3D so it is all emphasizing 3D at lame moments to overcompensate from the horrible 3D in other scenes. They want you to be sure you know you are watching 3D as something slowly rotates out towards you.

There is actually very little killing of the zombies, running from the zombies, laying the hurt down on the zombies, etc. Most of the movie just plods along.

They did not even end it well. They end it, show a few credits, then throw in another scene, then run the rest of the credits (nothing after credits).

Definitely wait for netflix if you really want to sit through it.
