In the past if I clicked on an event that was going to record on PTAT there was the option to restore event, and the event would be assigned to another tuner. The option is still there but it no longer works it just flashes and goes back to skipped PTAT event. Has the procedure changed? I'm trying to record the Mentalist with a 60 minute extension, because the start is often delayed, which used to work.

I don't recalled it working as you describe...PTAT always supersedes event timer. If I did not have OTA, what I would do with Good Wife and Mentalist is disable/remove CBS from PTAT on Sunday.
KAB that's how it worked, PTAT superseded but restore event restored the individual timer. I could disable PTAT on CBS Sunday but would like to have the old functionality. It was also useful for a NASCAR evening race that was going past 11pm
thomasjk don't see how edit restores the timer?
I wish extend event worked past 11 pm on PTAT.

KAB thanks for the links, I know how to do those so I guess the only solution is the OTA or disable PTAT Sunday.
