RIO Olympics app now on hopper 3 dvr

Thanks for the update Bluegras. I'm wondering what options we will have for 4k Olympic viewing on Dish. I did see that NBC will have next day broadcasts in 4k and maybe this app will be the way to watch them. I hope so!

Perhaps the app requires that they make available the Olympic channels that we saw in the uplink reports this week, before it works properly. One of those "chicken or the egg" type scenarios.

I'm wondering what options we will have for 4k Olympic viewing on Dish.

In this week's uplink activity, there was a "RIO4K" channel uplinked, but not yet made available to subscribers. So apparently this will be Dish's first linear 4K channel...at least during the Olympics!
