Update: Roku claims this is as a result of a bug, and that the bug is resolved.

I have a 85" TCL 7 Series and never seen a ad pop up, never disabled anything because it was not a issue.

I have TWO TCL roku tv's, and have never seen that. IF I did, I'd go into my router and block them. Once you sniff what domain they are coming from, it's easy to block them.
