I woundn't even say rumor. Outlandish wild highly inaccurate speculation would be more like it. The total amount of evidence that led some dingbat to make this prediction is that Google had an ad placement for someone to negotiate dark fiber contracts. Google has massive data needs and to go along with it will need massive amounts of bandwidth to push that data around to it's different international locations.

Actually, I think it would reply "Dialing results 1 of about 2,130,000 for mom and dad not little sister. (0.29 seconds)". Wether it's for YOUR mom and dad (but not your little sister) or it's MY mom and dad (but not my little sister) is yet to be seen.
