Definitely an art house film. It is only showing in 80 theaters, but it has been out since November and finally came to town. It is all in French with sketchy English subtitles. I say sketchy since you can pick up a lot more being said vs what the subtitles say. While it has been many years since high school French, I was able to pick up a lot more.

Essentially he is an down and out Frenchman forced to move into his sister's house with his son. She starts successful but after an accident at work wants to give up on life. They are drawn to each other and the movie is about their connection.

If you like foreign films, you will probably like this one. I found it decent, but do not expect an US type romance story, it wanders around aimlessly at times and you cannot really predict it. That is what made it interesting to me. Not knowing what was going to happen at the end. It is a bit long at 2 hours, but it is more of a casual drive than a packaged Hollywood formula.

It is R rated with both male and female nudity. It is after all a French film.
