Maybe has a feature that just a few know about and will test, while checking that it doesn't break anything with the non-testers.

The increase in the version number would suggest it's simply a bug fix. Not likely anything that can be seen (like a new feature or UI change).

Since 2012 it has been "coming soon". SO we are close to the third year anniversary of this new feature.
