If you have ever used a Uniden Scanner and needed help, and you looked for help online chances are someone by the handle of UPMan helped you out.

UPMan was Paul Opitz.

He passed away this weekend after a long battle with cancer.

Here he is unboxing one of the first SDS100's from the production line.
