It really saddens me comfortably_numb and Hall are leaving DISH. You two are big contributors to SatGuys. Understand why ya'll are leaving but I hope ya'll come back soon.

They are leaving their DISH tv subscriptions, NOT Satelliteguys, lol. No need for mourning...
They finally finished ALL the episodes of "Gilligans Island" on Tvland. Once you've seen them the 10,000 time, even the thought of seeing Mary Ann yet again isn't worth keeping a sub, LOL.
TV (at least cable or satellite model) just isn't worth it to us anymore. It wasn't anything about Dish. We're not switching to DirecTV or Spectrum either !
One of our daughters just dropped her Spectrum TV service for much the same reason. She gets good OTA signals, and she found she could get the 10-12 "cable" channels she regularly watches from Sling on her Vizio TV for $25/mo plus the videos she gets with her Prime account. She tested Sling for a month and never needed to turn on Spectrum's STB.
