This isn't interesting at all IMO, since BB OnDemand is just a PPV service. If it means these connected devices will then never be able to use Amazon's or Netflix's services then I'd say it's bad news rather than good.

Provide options rather than pigeonhole me and you'll have my money as a CE manufacturer when it comes time to buy your stuff.

They are not dropping Netflix. It is an additional option that will be available to its users. All about choice.
