I've noticed a few inexpensive Samsung's on eBay, including the SIR-TS160. I'm only looking for OTA HD because I have Comcast for regular channels. At under $100, I like the TS160 for price and the DVI output, but want to make sure I can use it without subscribing to DirecTV -- Anyone using one this way?

BTW, would love to see an integrated TIVO and OTA HD receiver -- the HR10-250 at $900 is just too much...

It will work, but what little I've been able to glean off the web is that you need the access card to get to the menu to set LNB = None.

I don't know if DTV access cards are married to the receiver or not. If they are, then the IRD has to have been subbed with the card at one time.

If you learn any different, let me know. Thanks.
