Ok. Has anyone used both and/or is the 1000.2 show a differance at catching the 129 satellite better. I have the 1000 and need to know if the 1000.2 would work better. Also since I have a marginal 129 signal would I be better off trying 2 dish's.

Thanks for the help.

I have used both and I scrapped them both. The 1000.2 is slightly better but 129 still drops out all the time. I switched to a wing dish for 61.5 and it is much better. If you are stuck with 129, I would go with at least a 30" wing dish (Winegard DS2077) and hope and pray that clouds don't blow by when you are PVRing your favorite HD show.

the 1000.2 is a little bigger so it does help with the 129. your fix will come soon.

I just put in the 1000.2 after alot of problems pixelating on 129 with the 1000. I've had 0 drop outs since the install of the 1000.2(about 3 weeks). The 1000.2 also eliminates the DP34 switch, if you have 3 or fewer boxes, and that has to help too.
