Satellite receiver qustion

My satellite receiver getting warm and I know it's normal,but my mother Is scared it may start a fire so I want to make sure it's normal for satellite receiver to be warm.

Yes it is normal. Just keep an air space around it.

Thanks so much for a quick answer,but my mother thinking there Is a high risk receiver will catch on fire and she wants me to go back to cable

Just how warm is it getting? Did you edit out this piece of info?

Can you keep you hand on it without it burning?
