Went camping over the memorial day weekend in So Cal area less than 50 miles from where I live . Hadn't had RV out since last year so it has been a while since I used my VIP 211z. I don't know what happened, since then, but I couldn't find the right satellites to get my receiver to work properly. I've used this setup with my RV before so I know it works, but it was no show this past weekend. I found 129 but that had all movies and porn so that wasn't going to work. Found 119 briefly and 110 too but couldn't get the locals and HD channels. I know some channels were move around over the past year, but there's no reason that I'm aware of for me to have had this problem. I'm using a 1000.1 (3 lnb) dish on a tripod that I had from my pre-hopper days. Location wasn't a problem because my neighbor had DISH and his was working fine. Am I getting forgetful and missing something? I know the 1000.1 satellite dish was very "touchy" when locking in the satellites with my previous setup at home but have things changed over the past year to make it obsolete?

129 has the biggest chunk of HD channels, possibly including your HD locals if you are in Southern CA. (I believe San Diego is on 110 in HD)
Even if you only got that satellite you should have about a 2 day guide and most of the channels. 119/110 would give you a few more HD channels possibly your locals in HD, and the SD channels. So it's confusing that you only saw movie channels. (And Porn)
