Guess I am lucky. I hate the Tapatalk app.

There is a company that makes custom apps like this one but it's $500 plus another $100 for a developer account to submit the app. And there is no guarantees that if we purchased it that it would be updated in the future. Meaning we could only have an app until iOS 15 comes out in September.

That's not worth it to me.

That is one problem. Update devices and 1 or more applications quit working.

Apple needs to come up with updates that do not do this.

Or the people you are paying to update the app should do what they are paid to do and update the app.

I have a application that I paid for cost 5.99. It is a radio application that has not had updates in a zillion years.

Then there is another radio application TuneIn. The paid version allowed recording of stations.

I paid for that. Then one day I noticed the recording option was not there.

The developer wrote him removed that feature.

Bait and switch there.

TuneIn was required to remove the record feature as a big broadcaster threatened to pull their stations from the TuneIn listing.

I addition by doing that (removing recording) they were able to get the IHeart stations back.

I think their choice was disable a feature that not many people had or used or keep that feature and have many of the stations on it disappear.

I had the pro version myself but I think I used the recording feature twice.

No plans for it unless you want to pay $1,200 a month for the one that is available.

Use the Tapatalk app it's the same app but you can use than one site with it. Only issue with it is they insert their own ads in it.

Is SatGuys going to get its own app someday? I presently use the app that is in the settings when I use the Crome browser.

I use Tapatalk. One thing that I do not like about Tapatalk is I will receive a notice about a recent reply.

Does not seem so bad except that notice is a reply that is like 10 years ago.

Not just on Satellite Guys but all subscriptions.

OK thanks. The app that comes with the browser in the settings works pretty good for me. Does anyone use it?

When I upgraded from an iPhone 8+ to an IPhone 12 Pro Max I lost the SatelliteGuys app. I tried Safari but it was horrible. I then Downloaded the Tapatalk app. Scott is correct. The Tapatalk app works just like the SatelliteGuys app. The Tapatalk ads seem to only affect the beginning. Once you are viewing the SatelliteGuys site i stop seeing the ads. For me the Tapatalk app is a clear winner.
