Hello folks,

Welcome to June! The the change of the month come brings a rule change that some folks will be very happy about! We are happy to announce that we are relaxing the rules on posting links in our Network Television forums!

This means that links can now be posted in the Network television Forum, the dedicated Network Links forum will soon be getting archived and retired.

However please note:

1) Please remember copyright when posting, under fair use you may not post more than 2 to 3 paragarphs from an article and you MUST include a link so people can read the rest of the story. WE ARE GOING TO START CRACKING DOWN ON THIS DUE TO COMPLAINTS BY COPYRIGHT HOLDERS. Any new posts that do not follow this will be removed and as much as we don't want to we will need to take action against the user. AGAIN NO POSTING OF FULL ARTICLES!

2) If posting something that is a spoiler, please use the proper spoiler tags! Remember a lot of folks no longer watch shows live but watch them later on their DVR.

3) Please just don't post links. Please post a little about what the link is about or your opinion on what people will see at that link. Posts with just links in them are frowned upon by Google.

WHY THE CHANGE? Well honestly the reason the change was first made was to appease the gods of Google. In forums like our we need to do all we can to keep Google happy, this is not only required for us to draw revenue to pay the bills but also to be ranked high in Google's Search engine. Google is always changing their SEO guidelines and we were getting penalized by having to many posts with just links. But now like the seasons change so does Google. So what was frowned upon before by Google is now shined upon again.

Also if you are a Pub Member and still have requests for referrals in your signature please remove them. While we have ended the referrals in signatures a few months ago we notice some folks still have them listed. If both companies make it so that our supporters can solicit referrals again we will let people re add them back in.

Finally I am excited to report that as of today we have a new Support Team here at SatelliteGuys! Today marks the beginnings of Official Sling TV Support here at SatelliteGuys. SlingTV support will have the Sling TV logo and also the worlds Sling TV Support in an orange ribbon so that you can spot them and know they are genuine.

Unfortunately they do not have a cute name like DIRT. I did suggest Slingtv Hard-working Internet Team. But with the initials of SH!T it was quickly declined. :D

As always please tell your friends about SatelliteGuys, and if you know anyone with or thinking about getting SlingTV service send them this way. :)

Look for more surprised around the end of July. :D Thanks for your support!

Excellent news! As usual, thanks for listening to the members Scott! We appreciate it!
