I wonder why they are putting them up in MPEG2?

Look at the channel names with the X's in front. Now compare them to the channels that were added to 110. Bring back memories of the times when Echostar X was coming online?

Once they figure out which subscribers only have a Dish300 installed and get them upgraded they will kill the 119 ones. That should free up this beam for some AZ HD LiL possibly.

I thought that Dish wasnt going to launch anymore Locals HD for awhile? Ah well, maybe next year I will be able to watch all the football and Nascar races in HD if the get Tulsa up. Would also like to have Speed HD.

FYI: SPEED does not appear to be doing HD for NASCAR at this time. They did seem to be doing some HD when FOX was covering the races earlier in the season.

Thanks for the info, but it's not just for NASCAR that I would like to have Speed HD, like other programs on it also.

Well, I signed up for E* last summer and they said Cleveland HD locals would be up by the end of 2006... now I'm praying for the end of 2007!

My OTAs are fine, but I can only record one HD local program at a time.. :(

I don't recall anyone ever saying that. I haven't had the time to look into exactly what they are doing and what bandwidth they have available in AZ, but it does look like they are shifting stuff around for something new there.

Denver, Phoenix- no Cleveland?

December 2005 I was told sometime in 2006, also.

They're at least 1-1/2 years overdue. Wonder if it's grounds for the old $10/mo discount for 10 months?

Why did the FEC change on TP18 not 20? If 20 went from HD to SD in 8PSK->QPSK, SR 21500->20000, should the FEC not changed on it from 2/3->5/6?
