A number of Satellite Retailers have been wondering what happened to the SatelliteRetailer.COM / DishRetailer.COM website, which has been down for a few days now.

Here is what's happening with it. ITS NOT DEAD.

Claude for whatever reason purchased SatelliteRetailer.COM from someone who owned it. He paid a great deal of money for it and was making monthly payments on it for a few years. When he died of course he stopped paying for the domain. After so long the person who sold it to him noticed Claude wasn't paying and took back the domain and shut it off.

The site is NOT gone...

I am working with dishstaller on moving the site to a new domain name. He is working on getting that domain name now. Once that is done the person who runs the site will need to make some changes and add the domain to the server... and then it will work.

When its working I will announce the new domain name here. For all retailers please help us get out the word on its new address.

So that's the status on the Retailer site.

Thank you Scott! We appreciate any help you can give. I had no idea Claude was paying extra. That sounds out of character for Claude, may be rest in peace.

Was wondering what happened.(STVS) Dishstaller going to send emails to active members or was that info lost?

We (well mostly Dishstaller) is working on this... hes got my numbers if he needs help.

He got busy at his job but will be working on this.

Okay, just made the payment for the domain Claude was using...satelliteretailer.com
Site is back up and running. Sorry for the delay. This stuff is kinda out of my realm of expertise.

Kinda depends on what someone would think of as reasonable. That site has been way to important to me and other retailers/dealers throughout the years. Literally saved me tens of thousands of dollars
