Scott,
Did you make a change that is causing the redirect page to start displaying?

Kind of pointless though....."Thank you for posting, you will now be taken to your post"???? Well where else would you take me......:confused:

oh crap, I detest forum software that does that, i sure hope this is temporary.

If it's a foreground indication that whatever's going on in the background now takes three times as long to process, that's one thing. If it takes three times as long to navigate simply because it's displaying this indication, that's something else entirely.

Thank You For Posting ?

Well, thanks for the forum upgrade maybe... but that has got go!
It's a bandwidth and processing hog.
I'm on DSL, and it bothers me.
I can't imagine what it does to the boys on modems!

Totally redundant, and uncalled for.
I love vBulletin, but what WERE they thinking? - smoking?

Thank you.

It doesn't appear to be doing it anymore. It was happening to me on "view new posts" and anytime saving a post.

yep its gone now

Only thing is when someone posts in a thread and they started it, below their name it says "thread starter" which looks really retarded

example

Iceberg
The No Pain Train
Topic Starter

Yeah I thought that was kinda dumb too.

That's a good thing to be able to know if the thread starter is still participating in a thread.

Maybe something more informative, like "started this thread on 01/01/2009" would be better?

"topic starter"

Anyone who can't figure out who started the thread, needs... new glasses.
Besides, I though we called 'em: OP. Original Poster.
Are they now TS? That means "transport stream" so some of us! -

But if it's gonna be there, then Pepper's idea above might give it meaning.
Keep it, drop it, expand it, makes little difference.

At least that silly screen that came up after posting is gone! woo hoo! :D
