Screen Centering Function on HR20-700

One feature I've been hoping they add is the screen centering function under the video setup screen that exists on my non-DVR box (don't remember the model #)...and no, my TV doesn't have that setting option....Also, I know that's an overscan issue but I'm not confident going into the service menu on my set, I've heard a screwup can cause major damage (it's a 65813 mitsubishi diamond RPTV).

So, net question, does anyone know if this feature has/is/will be implemented at any point? Appreciate any insight.

I thought I saw that on the HR20-700, but I guess it was on my Pioneer Elite, as I don't seem to see it now that I am looking

First off Jimbo, good to know you're a Tiger fan...we need to stick together in these hard times! Hopefully the train is rolling...re: centering, it exists on my non-DVR box (h15?) but when I got the HDDVR, it was missing...that's my ONLY real beef on the hr20-700...other than that, I'm happy with the DTV DVRs...I think they are at LEAST as good as tivo (before i'm flamed, i've had tivo for years, and also replay TV AND i had a dish network DVR AND a comcast cable DVR (yeah, i know, i'm a junkie)...and i actually thing the DTV ones are the best, altho Tivo remains #1in simple usability)....

anyway, i really hope they add that back in..please DTV!!!

It is a feature on the H20/H21, but not the HR series.

I knew I had seen it available somewhere and could not find it on my HR20-700, after you mentioned it, I DID see that it was on my H20 instead of the HR20.
It's also available on my TV as well.

Screen centering shows up in the HR21 manual, but has never been implemented. I finally figured out how to get into the service menu for my Vizio plasma but there are no overscan adjustments there
