Scrolling bar on Panasonic Viera.

TH-46PZ80U Panasonic Viera 1080p panel.

Translucent horizontal bar, scrolling from top to bottom, at all times when on SD channel, never on HD channel.

Motorola HD cable box.

Any ideas ?

Scrolling bar from top to bottom is generally a electrical hum bar. See if you see it while viewing a DVD. If not have the cable company come out and check thier groung. You also see them if you have high hat lights with a dimming switch.
