Second TV Remote Problem

Have a 722 and 2nd TV. The remote has never worked properly. Was told by Dish to place the antenna as high as possible. Put a new cable on that elevates antenna to 6 ft.
Walls are apparently too thick. Remote works sometimes depending where its pointed. What about purchasing a different antenna or putting an amplifier in
line before antenna?

Search would have shown several discussions. But, buy two splitters and follow this:
